PURPOSE
iLaunch Integration Studio allows for the integration of legacy information from a number of sources. These sources can include external databases and websites as well as information typed into iLaunch applications. iLaunch also allows for external database updates to occur based on information criteria being met within an iLaunch application.
Overall, iLaunch provides a user the ability to create applications that enable the seamless integration of corporate information using point-and-click.
The active data-driven nature of the platform ensures that authorized users are able to change data source characteristics while users are on-line using the application.
iLaunch allows for the conditional retrieval of information from your legacy systems. For example, using iLaunch, users can retrieve payroll details from a PeopleSoft HR database running on Oracle or Sales information from Siebel running on IBM DB2. Integration now becomes a point-and-click task for the user thereby reducing or eliminating expensive consulting time.
DATABASES
Connect to any ODBC compliant database such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, IBM DB2 and retrieve information to incorporate in your iLaunch applications.
WEBSITES
Integrate information from websites using data in your forms. For example retrieve the latest stock price for a field that contains a stock ticker symbol as the input.
iLAUNCH BUSINESS SERVER
All applications and data created within iLaunch can be accessed by other applications. Retrieve multiple fields in order to unify your corporate information.
iLAUNCH APPLICATION BUILDER
Data and metadata created using iLaunch, as part of an iLaunch application, can be accessed by new forms using look-up facilities.
UPDATE EXTERNAL DATABASES
Allow external databases to be updated with data when critical events occur within your environment.
